Works to install the retaining wall at the roadside below Paddy’s Path, between Wye River and Separation Creek, have commenced.
An artist impression of the design has been made available for the community, to give an idea of what the structure will look like.
Wye River and Separation Creek community members are reminded to use concrete sleepers and other non-combustible material as they replace retaining walls on their property. The Christmas Day bushfire destroyed or damaged a significant number of retaining walls in the townships and the replacement or repair of these walls is important to ensure land stability.
