Clinical psychologist Dr Rob Gordon will be at the Wye River SLSC this Saturday, November 5 from 4.00pm to 5.30pm to deliver a special talk to the community about coping with stresses arising towards the end of the first year of recovery after disasters.
Dr Gordon has spent the past 30 years working with people affected by emergencies and disasters.
He will be talking about strategies to cope with stress after an emergency, building trust and confidence in your community and learning to trust your own thinking and actions.
I encourage the community to come! Rob is a very wise man.
