Business support services are still available to affected business owners after the Christmas Day bushfires.
If your business has been affected, an application form can be downloaded from the Small Business Mentoring Service website or by calling the Victorian Business Line on 132 215. On receiving your application a Mentor will contact you directly to see how they can assist.
A few small business operators in Wye River and Separation Creek have also had discussions with an experienced business mentor when the Victorian Government’s Small Business Bus visited Apollo Bay in February.
The Bus will again visit various locations along Great Ocean Road in the near future. For further information on the bus schedule, please call the Victorian Business Line on 13 22 15 or visit the Business Victoria website.
The Business Victoria website also has a list of organisations that can provide support for financial hardships after a fire, along with the Tourism Victoria website for tourism businesses.
Other useful resources for business recovery include the Consumer Affairs Victoria website and WorkSafe for the safety of any staff or contractors working in bushfire-affected areas.
