I have made yet another inquiry about resumption of electricity supply today, and it seems that now it is not possible to have even an indicative date (things seem to be going backwards). Are others similarly affected – are we being too patient?  It it unreasonable to consider that those of us fortunate to have homes still standing in the worst affected areas should be provided with generators as a matter of course as we approach the shortest day?  Other solutions?

19 households still waiting – that is  12 weeks now since Powercor told us just to ring to be reconnected within 12 hours
